My new VO mentor
During my time here on this tiny celestial blue dot, I’ve somehow managed to befriend some of the most talented, gifted, successful people imaginable. Some are still here, while others, in the poetic words of Beau Weaver, “have taken their light into another room”. In the latter category, sadly, rests […]

This is Day Two of my 30-day Social Network Challenge, and today’s agenda is to answer a question – so here goes!
Mind Magic 2
I love this: it’s called “Neurobics”.
Neurobics is a term coined in 1999 by late neurobiologist Lawrence Katz, and it describes a concept wherein individuals can employ simple mental and physical exercises that enhance brain performance by growing new neurons and dendrites. The idea is that, by stimulating the brain with non-routine actions and sensations, new neural pathways are forged while the aging process of the brain is slowed down.
Here’s a tiny little “magic show” I threw together to illustrate a couple of ways I use neurobics. If nothing else, I think that, by trying out some of these ideas, you’ll notice an increase in your creativity — and maybe even in some of your abilities!
Enjoy!

I mean seriously…what do you want?
Just say it…whatever it is. Our loud. Right now. And then see yourself having it. Even more important: feel it. Because whatever it is you want, you can have it. Make up your mind right now to take off your hat, throw off your coat, roll up your sleeves, get […]
